THE VENUE
Located right outside of downtown Minneapolis, the stunning classic interior of the Metropolitan was expertly redesigned and crafted from the ground up in the fall of 2019 for the sole purpose of hosting memorable celebrations. This stunning reimagining brightened the space, adding new flooring, beautiful light fixtures, and a magnificent, custom glass chandelier over the dance floor while still retaining its classic elegance and nods to the past. With immaculate decor, a central location and ample free parking, the Metropolitan is an exquisite choice to ring in the new year. Simply put, we could not imagine a more perfect venue in which to present our annual New Year's Eve party.
HEATED GUEST ENTRY
VIP and Bottle Service (7pm doors) and General Admission (8pm doors) will both enter through the lobby inside the main doors. VIP guests will enjoy expedited entry through our exclusive VIP Line.

PARKING
​
There is ample free on-site parking available. It is important to plan ahead as cabs are in high demand on New Year's Eve and especially difficult to find after midnight.

COAT CHECK
​
Coat check will be professionally staffed by a company specializing in coat check. It will be complimentary for VIP guests and available for $5 cash to GA guests.

Dress to Impress! Arrive in your finest New Year's Eve attire. Extra points for sequins and sparkle. 80's glam looks are encouraged but not required.

BEVERAGES
We have plentiful bars serving wine, beer, and cocktails so you'll never have to wait long to purchase a drink! While we do not serve food on-site, many of our guests choose to dine prior to the event at one of the many great restaurant options in The West End which is located directly across the bridge.

FOOD
We will offer pizza by the slice for $5 (while quantities last) from 10:30pm until 11:30pm.

IDENTIFICATION
​
Acceptable forms of ID include: Passport and State issued ID. This is a 21+ event.
